Mods?
I was able to transfer my save file from the Windows Store version over to this version, so I was wondering if that implies that it's possible to mod the game? Or is Bethesda able to tell if a save file's been modded, and hand out "bans" if they discover a game's been modded?

I've heard of people using editors to edit save files, plus I doubt Bethesda is gonna hand out bans on a MOBILE game. Never heard of bans on a mobile game.

Doesn't seem you even mean "mods", you're using the term wrong. Game has unofficial mods as well as what you imply.

"Mods", "cheats". I guess it depends on how you look at it. :P
I apologize if the Discussion's title is a little misleading, but yeah, I wanted to be a little careful about how I worded it at first.

After playing my first Vault for a couple months, I want to start a second Vault that has a little bit of 'extra stuff' that's normally not very easy to acquire at the beginning of the game, like Legendaries, caps, and Nuka-Cola, etc. So I was wondering if there's a save file out there that's been edited to start out with a few 'extra things'.

Not all mods are cheats and not all cheats are mods. Mods are just modification even as little as changing some image in the game to a better version. For example fans make HD textures mods for some game, those don't give any advantage to those players, so it's not a cheat. Get your terms straight.

Game is completely unprotected from many forms of tampering if you're asking about that. No one would ban you for anything. This link contains both editor and mods as well(some of them are cheaty, but i don't think unlimited population is a cheat for example ): http://robot9706.github.io/FSSE/

Still it would nice to donate both to game developers and maybe even editor developer. I did both.

I agree with donating money to the developers. With my first Vault, I did take the time to buy a few lunchboxes when I first started, to help get my feet off the ground. But after you get going, and you're able to start completing quests/objectives, buying lunchboxes or Nuka Cola starts to becomes a moot point with how often you can (potentially) get them, especially after you complete the quest to rescue that weird bottle thing that visits your Shelter every so often.
