How to find the Mysterious Stranger FAST!
When you hear that "bwiiingg" quickly resize the window a few pizels back and forth. This allows you to have X-Ray vision.

Also, check elevator first, i happen to spot him very quickly even before the music kick in. because i have zero dwellers jobless nor wandering around so if there's any elevator movement = mystery man. THIS STATEMENT DOES NOT INDICATES MYSTERY MAN ONLY SPAWN IN ELEVATORS.

Going through floors by row. Top to Bottom Bottom to Top is faster in my opinion.

Also if u afraid drag dwellers around click on elevator rows. if you do not have a nice consistent elevator row somewhere means ur fked

Doesn't work for me.. I resize.. for a millisecond I see what you mean, but then the window size auto corrects and the effect is gone.

Just zoom in anywhere once the que start.
If you were fast enough, you'll hear where the audio que is comming from and find him easily.
If you are using headphones, that is.

Use headset if you got one... it help a lot to know exactly where he is ;)

what if u only have one side headphone/earphone?????? or what about you have a $500 headphone that plays the sound so well it comes from both side not like $75 one that plays louder on one side????

Then you will probably got has many trouble finding him as if you were not using it :steammocking:
Edit: headset at 500$ should be great enough for you to know the exact location of the sound.

Tried it, you mean floors disappear? I'd have better luck just looking for him with zoom-out.

I wish PC version had "HD zoom-out"=off function like mobile, i always used that to find him. I even found parameter for that in the registry, but it seems it's simply not implemented in PC version. I hoped resizing would temporarily force it :/

Anyway, you have bigger screen on PC and better controls, it's not that hard finding him, until your Vault is very large, but at that point you won't need him much.
