Outfits *SOLVED*

I have rare (blue) outfits in my storage but for most of my dwellers they dont show up in the outfit selection list.
I am assuming there is a level requirement for rares and legendaries to be eqipped.
Can anyone tell me if there is such requirements and what those levels are?

The item in question is the Soldiers Uniform (rare). I tried to equip it on one of my dwellers ( power room worker) who also happens to be a rare dweller (blue) (level 6) but the option to equip this outfit isnt showing in the list. (it only shows up in storage list)

On a side note, I just got Sara Lyons (legendary) from a lunchbox and the option to equip her with the soldiers Uniform DOES show up, so again, I'm assuming its a level issue.

I don't know if level is a factor or not, but some outfits can only be worn by one particular gender.

Some outfits are gender-specific.

Some outfits might also have a minimum requirement aside from that; such as a certain minimum Strength, or even minimum Level perhaps.

None have a "minimum level" type thing,some are gender-specific

Thaks everyone. The list (online) I was looking at didnt list "gender specifics" so I didnt realize the Soldiers Uniform IS female -only. Thanks for the responses.

yup, i have some as well.

If you are not seeing this, well you most likely have not been playing long enough.

I have a vault now with over 200 hrs run-time and has approx 78 dwellers. Many range from about lvl 10 - 30 ish. My vault has pretty much every single room the game offers.
I have acquired many rare weapons and outfits. Have about 4 dogs.
Have a few high level unique characters as well, such as one that came with 10 Charisma (when you keep his outfit on) so I put him at the Radio Station
