Pet bonus question

so i just got a dog called "Jake" witch give +1"Child Specials".... what that means?

It means that if you assign it to someone and this someone gets pregnant..
Her child will have all his SPECIAL stats up by +1

I'm pretty sure it means that if you breed two dwellers and one of them has that dog, the child's stats increase by 1 (all of them), but I could be wrong.

and then i got a pet called "Pip" that give x3"Objective Completion" but so far no clue what that pet works towards.. not helpfull inside the vault

Remember those daily objectives you have? like get 50 food etc. If you put the dog in one of those rooms and then reap your harvest instead of counting 10 food of the 50 it will count 30. same goes for equipping gear and what not I believe.

That means if you assign it to pregnant person before she gives birth - that child would have increased starting SPECIALs. I know that info from reddit and from experience. Only birth moment matters.

Yeah, as said above it makes it easier to farm most quests. Some time ago i've made a list for which ones that works and how. It's helful both inside the vault and wasteland and quests, depending on current objectives. Tell me which you have now.

So will the +1 child special work if I have a buncha pregnant ladies ready to deliver and right before delivering I assign the dog?

[edit], it only affects the person the dog is set to, if you have more than one pregnant lady in the room, if another delivers and the dog isnt in her inventory, her child wont be affected. but if you ensure that you switch the dog in time for each delivery, it will work.

Yes, it should work. Same with twins chance doge IIRC, so you can't have both.
