Blue Screening Still An Issue?
Can Anyone confirm if this game still causes random blue screening ? I used to play this back in the day using an emulator then when it came out for the pc I jumped back into it even though the emulated version caused my computer to blue screen more then once. But the Pc version seemed to do the same thing causing random blue screening if played to long. I'm wondering if they realized and fixed that issue yet ? I dont want to bother downloading this just to realize It still to this day causes such a disconcerning issue for my computer. If you never had a blue screen incident with this game then please dont reply unless you know something solid I know alot of people tend to think saying "that never happened to me" is helpful but I rather just get no responce and assume its still an issue then getting my hopes up just to see its a responce like that.Thank you for your time.

I had the same issue with the pc version without the emulator. which is why i jumped on it when it came out but for some reason this game loves to make my computer blue screen so its really not worth playing unless they have admited the problem and fixed it. And i see no signs of them doing ether ... most likly due to it being a fringe issue but its still an issue that i know im not the only one who suffered. Thank you both for the replies.

Bluescreens are generally driver issues or faulty hardware problems.

I played Fallout Shelter from day one of its release on/via bethesda.net launcher thingie. Never had one crash when playing it. Your bluescreens would more than likley would have been caused by the emulator you where using. When I use bluestacks for android emulation my pc will occasionally start throwing up RAM system errors although I never had it actually bluescreen on me. My system plays everything I own with 0 problems, but that bluestacks seems to cripple/find every little thing wrong with it my pc lol....the joys of emulation.

Agreed But I have to assume what ever the hardware Failure Fallout shelter was triggering it because i dont have that problem with anything else no other game blue screens me. Some cause my computer to freeze up and not shut down properly but nothing causes a blue screen.

Its odd that bluestacks is the only one that I have any real issue with when it comes to emulation. I have the same issue with the PC version. Blue screening is just what fallout shelter does to my system and its the only game that does that to me. So I have to, via my own experiences assume its the game doing something odd with my hardware or software to cause the Blue Screening. I just want to know if that was fixed or if they ever found a reason for this issue. Like i said im not the only one who has this happen but no one seems to have found a solution to it.Thank you for your time.

Ahh righty, that sucks. Odd that it causes bluescreens for you, not exactly the most demanding game out there etc lol. Hope they/you manage to find out what is causing it and get it patched/fixed.

I keep blue screening :(
I had several blue screens within the last days (but not before) and after the last one by biggest fault with payed content is gone, another deleted one however came back. I am really pissed.
I have played for roughly 140 hours now on 3 seperate PCs and haven't had any issues at all with the game. I also use steam's inhome streaming from one PC to another with this game and no issues If that helps any but prob not....

all PCs I have use windows 10

A blue screen is almost never caused by a game specifically. It usually is a hardware issue in most cases. What you need to be doing is taking the blue screen code down when it happens and dropping that into Google (If the blue screen disappears to quick you can go into your BIOS and set it to "halt" during a blue screen to see the code). You will find out really fast what the issue is. Lots of cases it's a faulty or not seated properly piece of RAM. That is usually the culprit. Other things would be badly seated GPU's, sometimes it can be faulty updated bios, drivers. Rare cases it can be a Program. (Emulators possibly, if the blue screen is happening IN the emulator versus your OS then something is up with the emulator)

Telling someone you are running fine, literally does nothing for them. :steamfacepalm:
