Use of Radaway?

Just unlocked it but the game didnt explain its use to me.

Eh, they kinda expect you to have played any fallout game since this was originally released for fallout fans. But radaway gets rid of radiation poisoning.

When you start facing RadScorpions or Ghouls breaking into your vault, you will need it if you want to clear their radiation right away.

You have to build more med bay's or science labs to store more of that item in your vault. Trust me though, you'll want more eventually. Especially when you can send out three quest groups and are sending trained up vault dwellers out to explore and level up and need to equip everyone with consumables.
