overseer office bug

put up an overseer office and sent a guy out on a quest but now the hint window wont go away and the options menu is gone and for some reason it wont save anymore, is there a fix for this?

If the hint window won't go away, there's something you forgot to do. I think you HAVE to use the Q-Cola to speed up the travel time or it won't go away.

cant do that as everything on the ui is gone exept the hint window.

I had this problem during the tutorial in the beginning. I got by it by clicking on where this missing thing SHOULD be. In my case the tutorial hint demanded I build a room but the construction hammer was gone.

Im also stuck there. first wasteland mission then the hint wont go away and you cant zoom out or build anything.

ok found a solution. i forward my pc date with 2 days. and quest is now active and no longer stuck.

Bad solution. When you fix your PC time you'll get all kinds of nasty bugs.

I am also having this problem. I can't click on anything else and I have to revert to an earlier save.

Click on the far left of the screen, at the dirt mound, where your people run into the wasteland. They really need to add a blinking arrow, or something.

Wow... that was exactly it. Yes, a notification arrow or something is missing in that area but clicking where the dwellers disappear into the wasteland is exactly what is intended, because then you do the mission they are on.
