Medical Bay produces Stimpaks and Science Lab produces Rad-Away.

Yeah but when i give to explorer stimpaks and radaway, what are those items, for healing ?

Yes. When out in the Wasteland, combat has a chance of damaging him and if you leave for so much time, there's a near certainty he'll be suffering from radiation sickness (The red part of a health bar). Think of it as self-healing for him so he doesn't need to wait to come home and heal or risk dying while you're offline and costing you caps.
