Screwed up camera angles + controller display flickering
I can't even see the first vault dwellers. The camera is up in the sky, and the game itself won't let me move the camera, it just shifts back to the spot. It also says I have an xbox controller plugged in, but there are no controllers plugged in. The xbox controller thing is flashing on and off all the time.

Can't even start playing because of it.

I have a similar problem. Constant clicking noise and references to A and Y key when I'm using a mouse. It seems to be configured for the xbox controller unfortunately and I don't see an "Options" menu listing to configure any other controllers (e.g. keyboard and mouse). Disappointing as I was looking forward to giving this game a try.

I have a hitbox-arcade style controller plugged in, i'm going to try to unplug it and run the game without it plugged in.

Bad programming is bad programming. If you have a directinput ps4 controller plugged in, the game sees one of its default states as an active state. Thus causing program display flickering. However, it doesn't retain the state, so it loses it soon after, causing endless bugs.

I sincerely doubt they will ever fix it either.

The solution is to unplug all directinput controllers.

Yep. My DS4 wasn't turned on but the Wireless Dongle was in. Pulled it out, restarted the game, no more flickering. What a stupid issue to have. You can do better, Bethesda.
