S.P.E.C.I.A.L. training question
How come some dwellers train faster than others. Atm I have two level 1 dwellers training intelligence: 1 needs 10+ hours to train and the other only needs 2.

What makes him train faster ?

PS: my training rooms are fully merged and upgraded.

As they get higher in level it takes longer for them to train to the next level.

ya, wat he said. It's not the dweller level, it's the actual base level of the stat being trained.

Every rank a SPECIAL gets closer to 10 will take longer to train. Level 1-2 takes aprox 25m, 2-3 takes aprox 1.5hrs and 9-10 takes aprox 22 hrs.

Having your training rooms fully upgraded is asking for trouble. Suggest you destroy them and rebuild as level 1.

Emergencies (especially RadScorpions) are stronger in rooms that have been leveled up. In a level 1 room, even a few 1st level dwellers with modest weapons will defeat a RadScorpion in seconds. In a level 3 room, 6 high level dwellers with powerful weapons can have trouble trying to take one down before it burrows off to another room.

Interesting. Never realized that before.

et not really a big deal in normal vault, and every bit halps. Training goes so much much slower in not-3 wide rooms and a bit slower in unupgraded.

It's not the size of the training room, it's how many people are in there. Dwellers get a slight training bonus based on the number of other dwellers training with them. A larger room allows for more training partners, but only if it's full. A lone dweller will take take the same amount of time to train up regardless of how big the room is.

right, no disagreement there, but that's where you get the most reduction from, having 5 training partners.
