Objectives resetting?!

I had my objectives resetting after a day or so. I had an objective where I should stop 45 incidents and another one that was collect 210 weapons. I hade come up to 38 and 189 respectivly on them and now they are back to 0.... is it a bug or what?

Many people reported that happening to them. Tho I'm yet to experience anything of that sort for anything.

Many people also laugh when we warn them they should not mess with the clock time on their PC in the hope of cheating the game out... Just saying.

Many people so you deducted everyone is having this issue? You're wrong about stating this as a true fact because I'm not having any issue in the game. Not even a single crash. Bye bye now.

I have not messed with anything. But I check on the game maybe every 12th hour

Q: Why do my objectives keep resetting?

A: This is a common glitch that has been in the game since day one. People have done all sorts of speculation as to the cause, but nothing conclusive has been found so far. There's no real fix either. Regularly manually backing up your vault and restoring whenever a reset occurs might help (see 15.1), and keeping track of the objective yourself and using an editor (see 15.2) to mark it as complete when you would have normally gotten it works well.

Your only choices are either make a backup file frequently and restore it when it occurs or just live with it.

Thanks for the answers, even if it did not solve the problem. At least I know it is a bug and not the game which is very extremely demanding. :p
And is there really people who change time and date to cheat ? Never thought about it... :D
