Steam Cloud save struggling to sync

I use my laptop while out and about and save my progress in Fallout Shelter. I get home, boot up the desktop PC and my progress has not updated ...

I just got to a cafe. Booted up laptop. My laptop is continuing where IT was last saved - not the cloud save.

Anyone else struggling with how Steam Cloud saving is implemented in this game?

Yes, my family shares a computer sometimes. And that computer only saves the game from the most recent player even with Steam Cloud enabled in the main settings and for Fallout Shelter specifically.

Looks like a bug to me. It's like Steam Cloud is not even being used.

Unfortunately, you are one of many.

It is ultra-important that ppl manually back-up their saved game files.
