How to stop (or delay) raids ???!!!
Pls help. I get raided every ~3 minutes or so. And not just by regular raiders (they are easy), but by bloody feral ghouls and death claws. It's devastating. I used up all my stimpacks and radaways in a few minutes.

46 dwellers. Survival mode.

I'm by no means an expert at all, but if I read right it said the radio attracts Deathclaws from time to time. Try setting it to vault only and see if that curbs attacks

Kick your highest level dwellers.
Lower your average level.
(not sure this applies to survival too... but it helps in the normal game mode)

Pretty much turn off your Radio Station and try to level up a few dwellers SPECIAL stats. Also have your best weapons and armor on dwellers closest to your vault door since Death Claws tend to slowly work their way down from room to room on each floor.

Your higher level starter npcs might have low health due to how endurance works in the game.

Yeah i have a few dwellers training at all times. And yeah i put the best weapons on the highest floors. But still some of the feral ghouls manage to go down like 5 floors somehow, but others die at the door, its weird.

reduce your dweller number until you have better weapons, at least down to 34 to eliminate deathclaw spawn

bro, you're on survival, the spawn limit is lower.

what is this 'spawn limit' ?
Tetsuri Apr 24, 2017 @ 1:06am
it means you get deathclaws if you have 35 dwellers or above

That's just suicide. You want high levels so that you can have the HP to resist invaders and survive high level room "accidents".

50 dwellers is alot. You're gonna want to have multiple clinics and science buildings to pump out healing items.

A good rule of thumb is never go below 30 stimpacks or radaways.

If you get overwhelmed, just run away. Once invaders reach the bottom of the vault, they leave. Fires and molerats/radroaches/scorpians also eventually give up.

I have had 50+ dwellers for a long time now... never had a deathclaw.

I think dweller level (the average in your vault) is more important.

Hence my advice... lower your average level by kicking the highest level dwellers.

No, you want high skilled dwellers that level up high... not low skilled dwellers that are high level.
I think the strength of the invaders is determined by the avg level of the dwellers... and to a lesser extent the number of dwellers.

Yes I get radscorps now with my 58 dwellers, but they're not so hard to kill.
Half of my dweller population is level 1-5 though.. and I keep 'm low until they are skilled up high.

Yeah was wondering myself. Why playing on such a high challenge level and then start this cry thread? Wanted to check the hours the player played the game but it seems he plays it on mobile so no idea. Could be an absolute beginner playing every game on hardest by default or a easy mode vet who plays on survival the first time.

I played normal mode on mobile and it was way too easy. And when they ported it to pc i started playing survival mode. I do like a challenge, but getting attacked every 3 minutes is more annoying than challenging. Cannot manage my inventory or anything because i always get interrupted by an attack.

Kicking dwellers is not an option. I'm not a monster.
