Can't move residences when you have 160+ dwellers?
I'm approaching 160 dwellers and just noticed that you can't build new residence rooms when you are at the cap of 200 capacity. But you also can't destroy a residence if that would mean you have more dwellers than residence capacity, so how do you move a residence once you have 160+ dwellers?

You have to kick out enough dwellers till you can destroy the living quarters and rebuild some place else.

Wow, so you really can't do it? What an oversight from the game developers!

More of an oversight in how you planned out and built your vault. GLHF

Not really. I know how I want to have my vault when everyone is fully upgraded and level 50. It is not the same as I have it now, but I don't want to change it now when everyone is not fully upgraded yet.

well, then, you've got yourself wedged into a tight spot, painted yourself nicely into a corner, got a sticky wicket, got a pretty pickle, really stuck your foot in it now, got yourself a fine how-do-you-do, found yourself in a difficult situation, have quite a quandry there, placed yourself between a rock and a hard place, made a real catch-22 (oh gods, I mean mighty gods of the thesaurus, I beseech thee to help me stop from rambling on and get to the point)...
as I see it it you have several options:
  • change it now before you cross the rubicon (i.e. get below 160+)
  • don't change it and leave it like it is now and learn to love it by the time your dwellers are maxed out
  • get mad at the devs, swear off all games, go to Tibet, find an unoccupied mountain top, dwell there in full harmony of your electronics free life for the rest of your life

boy, is he going to be pissed when he goes to destroy all his training rooms and finds out that his dwellers lose all the training done in them /troll

I am a little mad at the developers for this. But since it is the way it is the option I see is to postpone it by downgrading all my residences to level 1. That way I don't have to deal with it until I have 172 dwellers. After that I guess I just have to change it even though it will be less convenient for a while.
