on last quest cant get access to the reactor im locked out try to docking ship to use its power but no go is it a bug or am i missing somthing

Below is the way to do that part
The reactor is out of fuel and not making power anyway, its only coming from the solar array.

Take care of the turrets first (shoot them) cause once you give the place power, they are going to shoot you.

So wait to the solar array is damaged enough so it does not giving any power and destroy all turret (melee works) or just shoot them

Then go to the solar panel array and repair all four panels (they stand up), but this is not enough so take the 4 catalyst from the reactor and add them in the solar panel array. This will be enough power to finish that quest.

Do not do this quest while its in a debris field, as they will get damaged too fast

thank you cant find the third hack tool for captains door but will work the solar panels and hope to find a hacking tool in other debris in area

in my opinion it is a big bug that u can't dock there, because it makes no sense and is confusing like u mentioned too. but it is really intended, it's strange yes, but devs really think that this nonsense/strange docking thing is good :D ^^
