Yeah sounds like you need a new ship.

Your current (broken?) ship can be found in your new ship's Nav map under Authorised Vessels - so you can return to it and recover parts etc.

no big deal I noticed it before I left my outpost , thanks anyway though :) happy flying

Had a similar issue with trying to charge capacitors. Had over 3.1K extra power being produced. It had filled my ships cap, but stopped halfway through the PSMs cap, and wouldn't touch the Outposts cap. I even threw some deuterium in our salvaged ship to turn it's reactor on, but it didn't help...only created more excess not being used to charge the capacitors. I turned all power drain off in each module and it finally started filling with over 6K extra. If there is excess power it should fil the capacitors, but for some reason it doesn't under certain conditions.....just don't know what those conditions are.

Did you go to the power panel and make sure the ship is turned on? I believe it is on the right side, there is a slider for on/off. I had my ship docked and someone I shared a base with shut off my ship when they logged, which was after I logged. When I got back on, nothing would turn on and I didn't realize what was up until I searched a bit.

Seen this too - thre ships, PSM and outpost, over 1K of excess power wasn't charging one of the capcacitors beyond a certain percentage. I switched a load of stuff on and off (can't remember what) and after that cap finally started charging.

Powering off ship turns off systems but all power sources can work and actually charge faster for the reduced power draw.

I was on my ship trying to turn on the power and nothing would turn on, not until I went to the ship on the side (can't remember if it was right or left now) and toggled the on switch. Once I did that, I was able to power it up. This is while it was docked to a station.
