wind direction and runway usage

I have noticed that the wind direction doesn't always favour the runways selected. This seems especially true when selecting the more severe weather. Surely it should match wind direction to chosen runway use and if it changes whilst playing then fair enough but it's frustrating having to reload the game several times to get it to match so that aircraft will use them.

Just deselect the wrong runway and select the correct one once the game loads up and you see the wind direction.

I understand that but if I select the runways in use prior to the game loading it should be forced to match that. If it changes during play then that is life but the software should match my selection on loading?

The game engine/software should do a lot of things better, but they stopped providing fixes/updates almost 3 years ago.
