How to install real color/traffic

I have been surfing the internet for a clear description of how to install real traffic and real color. I have found none that make sense to me. Could somebody please clarify on how to install them into the game from steam. I do not know much about tech so please SIMPLIFY it. Thanks.

If you are not too techy then I would assume Steam and tower were installed using the default installation path.
If that is the case all you need to do is run the installer(s), choose the appropriate button for Tower!3D or Tower!3D Pro, and you should be good to go.
Oh, make sure to run the Real Traffic installer first.

We noticed there are lots of concerns about how to install Real Traffic and Real Color for Tower!3D Pro.

To avoid further frustration we asked Nyerges Design to create a better installer that will consider Steam users too. Until they make and distribute this new installer we asked them to give you some instruction where to point the installer of these DLCs. So here they come:

Sorry, I just want to make sure I do it right, I run the installer, then launch the game, no moving files, replacing, rearranging. Just run and Launch?

Chubbles, you need to point the installing files of each game to the folders directed here:

REAL TRAFFIC FOR TOWER3D PRO STEAM
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\

REAL COLOR FOR TOWER3D PRO STEAM
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks\

These are the names of your folders. Please make sure Real Color and Real Traffic files are installed under these folders.

There's no need to be confused, people are making this way more difficult than it really is.

Just run the installer, choose the version of Tower that you have, and it will install in the normal default location.

Run the installer. Select your version most likely "Tower3D PRO Steam" If you have Steam and Tower3D Pro installed in the default location, then the installer will autofill the directory for you. If you don't have them installed in the default location, then you will need to manually select the install directory. If you need help on this, check the pinned thread or Google. I'm not making a video.

I have read through everything I could find for installing real color and they all say to point the file to download to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airplanes\Texturepacks\. I don't have a texturepacks folder, so where should I direct the file to?

I just installed this 2 days ago - brand new to game - When I pointed it there, it said Driectory does not exist - do you want to create it? I said yes, and bingo - it worked like a champ. Good Luck.

i have ben trying to get real color to work in my game i have real traffic instaled and working i have left real coler to the work any help on what to do next

The first time you install a real color pack, you need to create the Texturepacks sub-folder. Any subsequent real color packs will get installed to that same folder.
