There don't seem to be any cargo flights scheduled at all for EDDS.
I'm afraid the only options you have is to either create your own schedule (here are some tools that can help with that: https://www.eligrim.de ) or use one of the two schedules from the community.
One option would be this one: https://forum.simflight.com/topic/86063-tower-3d3d-pro-custom-schedule-for-eddsstr-v20/
I've used that schedule creator on eligrim already, but it didn't include any cargo flights. Are there any manuals on how to adapt it manually (I notice every flight has a line, so as soon as I know what codes for companies and airplane types, I could adjust it myself?)
Information can be found in the official forum or on YouTube in a few videos.
Basically you can change all Real Traffic text files of an airport as long as you keep the formatting, i.e. commas, spaces.
Alternatively, you can use the Schedule Creator, which allows you to modify existing schedules or create your own schedules from scratch.
An introductory video on how to use Schedule Creator will be available in about two weeks under "Help".
Do you know what airline it is? I put some DHL planes in, but indeed, they remain white, no liveries. Is there any way to get the correct liveries, to add it to the real colors file for that airport? I have other airports that have this airline (London Gatwick for instance), of which I have the real color addon as well. Anyway to use that on Stuttgart?
Assuming you are using unmodified files from a recent Real Traffic installation, do the following...
Add this line to the file ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro\Extensions\Airfields\EDDS\edds_airlines.txt:
Add these lines to edds_airplanes.txt:
Update line 6 of edds_terminal.txt:
Now you can add DHL Cargo flights to your EDDS schedule (edds_schedule.txt). Here are some examples...
ARRIVALS
BCS6705 (A300-600F) from Brussels to Stuttgart at 10:05 and
BCS6715 (B757-200F) from Paris to Stuttgart at 10:15:
DEPARTURES
BCS6725 (A300-600F) from Stuttgart to Amsterdam at 10:05 and
BCS6735 (B757-200F) from Stuttgart to Heathrow at 10:15:
The major operational bases of DHL Aviation in Europe are:
- BRU
- CPH
- CDG
- FRA
- LEJ
- BGY
- MXP
- AMS
- MAD
- VIT
- EMA
- LHR
(These are already included in edds_airports.txt.)In the forum post that mjgrampy linked to, you will find an extremely useful spreadsheet that contains all the liveries of the RC packs with detailed information.
I hope this helps you.
If not, then you have to ask someone else!
EDIT: Since I don't own EDDS I couldn't check if there are gates resp. a/c stands at the cargo terminal/apron that allow an A30F, but I would be surprised if not. In the worst case you are limited to the B75F. (Both aircraft models have the yellow DHL livery in the EGLL RC pack for BCS.)
Thank you, that was indeed very helpful. Can I ask one more question then, to make things clear: does this mean that if you have a Real Color pack of another airport (so if I own EGLL in this case), you can use those airlines and their colors on other airports that don't have that airline in their color packs.
With other words: if I purchase EGLL (which I don't have yet), and I add a few lines with DHL flights at Stuttgart, they will show the yellow livery, even though the original Stuttgart airport hasn't got that livery in it's color pack?
