Where can I find said logfile and where should I upload it?
Didn't make a screen, although you can't capture a plane not moving.
It stated in the STRIP "pushback", so it recognized the command but didn't execute it.
Interestingly it did the pushback then for the first runway...
PPS: I don't know, if that helps you much (atleast it will help within the log), but it was AUA2326, this one was buggy.
I guess you want the output_log, out of [...]common/Tower 3D Pro/tower3d_data ?
Alright, I've sent it to you guys as request.
Kind regards!
Planes park at different gates each time you play, so only providing flight numbers doesn't really help. You need to provide log files and screenshots.
I also had a pushback problem with a Hansaline (CLH Callsign) plane, they use the same terminal as Lufthansa DLH-Machines, since they're a subsidiary of Lufthansa.
I could solve the problem with issuing the Pushback again with another runway and it worked, although it did the Pushback for the initially issued runway.
But that doesn't work always, when I tried that with the Austrian Airlines one, the one that caused me to open up this thread, it didn't work.
Both incidents happened in the same playthrough, so Feelthere alrdy has the log for this now.
Tne next time a plane does not push back, let it sit and wait it out. When it does finally push back, and most times it will, take note of the arrivals at that time.
For arrivals, gates aren't assigned until they actually land. So there is no way a departure can be waiting ti pushback because of an arrival. Planes not pushing pushing back are primarily due to two reasons: (1) poor design of the gate/ramp area by the developer or (2) the plane can't determine a route to the expected runway.
The opposite of your theory is true though, an arrival won't spawn on the DBRITE if there are no free gates.
Actually, when I said arrival, I do mean a landing. Many times I have had a plane not push back until an arrival had landed. After clicking on that landed plane, I see that it will be taxiing to the area of the stubborn pushback. And after clearance to terminal, sometimes that landed plane will be given the the exact gate of the stubborn pushback.
However, if this happens as you say I'd love to see a screenshot and a log file.
You are correct, it makes no sense from a REAL Air Traffic Control point of view. But from a "gaming" point of view, it does. That's my point. We may be giving this sim/game more credit than it deserves. Although I do like Tower3DPro a lot, I in no way see it as a true ATC simulator.
As for the log file, I will look into that. I haven't done things like screenshots and log files before. Just sharing ideas and experiences.
They do, I once had that at KPHL and TIST, when I was new to the game.
They do land, but then, when you order them to taxi to their gate and it is occupied, they'll deny your order, stating, that their gate is occupied.
