Game Doesn't Fully Shut Down

Game works. No problems. But when I use the in-game menu and UI to exit the game, the game exits back to my desktop. However, Steam still shows it as "- Running".

Also, I found no identifiable .exe's in the Task Master.

What gives? How do I fix this?

I have the same problem, I ended up killing steam process tree from the task manager to stop it.

Right, I wonder if the problem is more widespread then...

I bought this over Green Man Gaming and activated it over Steam. Did you do something similar?

If you opened up the help menu in the game, i.e. a webpage with the voice controls, you have to exit out of all web pages before it will fully close.

Didnt open any helm menus...

I had this problem and uninstalling and re-installing fixed it. don't know if that will help you but it might be worth a try'

Ever since I started launching the game as an admin I havent had this problem. Before I did I had the same issue as you, actually I have it for every game on steam.
