Report a translation problem
I clicked out of the game back into Virtual Desktop, then right back into the game again, After doing that, it worked just great.
......until the next time I started the game, and it doesn't work again.
So let's not mark it down as my being too big a dumb*** to figure out how to point and pull the trigger button and in need of replaying the tutorial. The problem ain't me.
Turns out it was the Unity Mod Manager interfering.
It was showing up on my laptop screen, but not on my VR. For some strange reason it had no effect whatsoever on gameplay except to render the switching function on the comms radio ineffective.
