Switch Setter not working (What am i missing?)
ok, I mounted and soldered the switch setter, mounted and soldered a power switch for it, and crimped them together, but the switch setter doesn't show any signs of life. I haven't driven with it connected yet to test, but does it have a power state LED to show it's switched on, or does it only show signs of life when in range of a switch?

it only shows when you drive in range of a switch, then it will show the current direction and you can switch with the button if needed.

to add, you can change the range that the switchsetter works, I have it set to max myself, I suggest you do that as well for testing at least. it is possible to connect it to an external switch but I recommend removing that crimp/link at least for testing. the switchsetter doesn't need it. just mount it and solder it and as soon as you power on the loc it will work as well.

After that it just needs to be in range of a switch and the reverser has to be set in the direction of a switch in its range. Sometimes it needs to be trigered by driving at least a little bit for it to notice the switch and direction of travel.

Yes it will only show signs in range dependant on distance setting. No power light but once your in range of a switch that you can change it'll light up to say which way it is pointing and beep.

Drive around a yard and play with settings you will work it out and get it how you like.
