I did a tutorial and happen to find an rare DE 6 just sitting to the right as the DE 2 was heading to service place, the DE6 was just sitting on all wheels trying to blend in at the Steel Mill

At the City South (west of harbor) and the key is in Goods Factory iirc

I couldn't find key in Goods Factory shop, could it be also randomized?

I found Olaf's Garage key in Machine Factory Shop for 18k$

yeah, I found 0-6-0 parked on other side of the wall in HB near passenger station with the same save as DE 6 and older save had DE 2 at HB right between ruined box car and round house

found the dm at the new coal power plant parked next to a shed. must be random tho looking at these comments. the garage key for me was at the MF store

Yah looks like locations are set, but what you get there is random, i found 282 in Coal Plant and DM3 in Harbour under roof (i think around D and G yards) but no luck with other suggested spots so far

The spots are "random", but they are really just in randomly selected preset spots.

My DE6 was in a rusty shed next to A2S in GF.

Another spot is in the Coal Mine East, literally in the hole of the mine, closest rail is the end of the B lines
