Report a translation problem
According to that, the update 4 will be a huge one that includes new cities and locos as well as passenger jobs.
They keep adding and removing and adding back stuff, so it's actually hard to know what
they do plan for the future.
It took them over two years (and I think more) just to fine-tune the simulation, and add a day-night cycle and weather.
Edit: and yeah it was way more than just day night cycle and weather, the way the trains work changed pretty dramatically as well. Not to mention all the new damage mechanics, you couldn't detonate a steam loco before or cause explosions or cause oil spills.
It should have been the first thing you read though, weird that you made such a focus on the second half just to say one shouldn't focus on it.
