The is not much "career" here if you just go and take whatever loco your license allows you to. And if everything is reseted when loading..
I think the career in current game is an employed driver career, not a railroad tycoon career :)
I just got a license at the harbor and the engines are no where to be found.
It wasn't even full. Had a de2 and a dm4 in the roundhouse and the always de2 in the siding. Nothing else in the entire roundhouse or yard.
Why do de2's take up space in the roundhouse if you can always find 1 in the siding.
It's wasted space for the new engine I just got access to.
As I suggested a yard just for engines. The harbor could hold 1 of each for the moment but I'd prefer a new yard to be built for picking up engines.
Well everytime I have a used de2 in the tracks just after making a job, then I go to office, complete the job, save and exit and when reloading, the jobs have chanched, and the loco is in somewhere besides the turntable. And really, this happes without paying the copay.
When I deliver I leave it hooked up.
Cash out the job and grab the shunting created. Use the remote to start moving it. The new brake doesn't help but I at least start moving.
Makes for a quick cash less effort.
