I Lost my Map

So i enjoy the Release, with a new Savegame, i got into the Realism Mode because i thought its a nice bit of playing.

So i played a bit and usually i place my Map i got with me on the Train, but after i think the fee or a repair of said loco, i dont find it anymore , i think its bugged out and i didnt saw it and just drove off.

i looked in the "Lost item Shack" where the lost items can be found but i dont find it there either, the map isnt "that" hard to remember in my head but at some intersection i would really like to look it up

i know there is a feature to get it back into your inventory but it somehow didnt work on realism mode? or i m just dumb

In the tutorial I got told to open up the inventory and click the little star icon beside the map.
The Inventory you open up with CapsLock not the TAB one.

any items lost should appear in the lost and found shed which is by the station office

yes, i saw and remembered the Tutorial with the Star icon, sadly its not there , even on the other items its not there

Yes it should appear in the lost and found shed but it doesnt

I think the Star Icon thing is because of the Realism Mode, because i can jump forward less than in casual
with the Shed, i dont know, i think a bug?
maybe its bugged out and the Game thinks it is still with me?

i started today my session and in one of my Locos was my Map, where i m pretty sure it wasnt last time i played

I've had this issue a few times, forgetting my maps or radio somewhere. If you go into your inventory, you should see the outline of the lost item in one of the boxes. There's a little dot inside the box (I believe it was the bottom-left corner). If you click that, it should repopulate that item in your inventory, good as new.

yeah, that was mentioned in the tutorial, but it wasnt shown , i would believe its because of the difficulty setting

The star icon is missing because you're in Realistic mode.

We'll add a button to Lost & Found sheds that will retrieve all player items (which aren't in inventory) to it.

Same thing happened to me. Also lost my torch in the same time. Both things disappeared in the same moment while I was driving the train in with I placed them. I'm absolutely sure both of items was present at the beginning of haul and I did not leave locomotive cab.

it could be that after breaking that the items just slide around and bug out
