So how do i NOT blow up a steam engine?
I heard they can now blow up (Boiler Explosion) and well.. Kinda DON'T want to blow up an Steamer?? Does anyone know how to manage this stuff? Because the Devs removed the manuals to the locomotives. (And the tutorial for each locomotive is BORING..)

um, dont let the water get to low, dont let the temp get too high and dont let the pressure build up too high? i personally havent unlocked it yet after this update...

Don't let your water level get too low in the boiler is probably the main thing. But also don't derail it or that might cause one too. Also remember though not to overfill the boiler either. You want it to stay in a nice balance. And no I haven't tried it since the update to see for myself. I'm just talking general principles here

Keep the water level in the boiler between 20-80% and only keep the fire hot enough to generate enough steam for what you're doing.

All these replies are overly complicated. Don't let your water level go below the level of the indicator in the cabin. Do this and you will never have a boiler explosion.

So long you see the water level inside the small glass tube, you are good to go.

Yeah, as long as there is water in the glass and you do not derail, the boiler should not explode.

However, when you are going downhill (or uphill backwards), water goes to the front of the boiler (since it's lower) and the level at the back goes down significantly. So you hae to watch out for that. The most dangerous part would be going uphill (so the glass shows more than normal) and then immediately going downhill. It could turn the glass from "almost full" to "empty" very fast.
