Need coal

I purchased the manual maintenance license and I'm currently using the steam engine, however, I can't fill it up with water at the maintenance area in Steel Mill. Is this an issue or I'm I doing something dumb?

If you look at your game map, you will see different dots representing what the place can do. For example the Steel Mill does not have coal service.

You aren't doing anything wrong. There is no steam engine maintenance in the Steel Mill. If you are out of coal and water, just go to the licensing machine and pay for maintenance, and it will fill up everything, though at twice the price. For steam engines, coal and water are cheap enough that this isn't usually a problem.

But there is.
Steel mill supports steam locomotive service.
What is happening here, why are both of you transferring the wrong information?

Stations that supports steam locomotive fuel:
Iron Ore Mine East/West, Coal Mine, Harbor, Steel Mill.

Steel Mill and Harbor are the only two stations that supplies both kinds of fuel.

OP probably parked the locomotive on the service spot.
For now you need to park the tender on the service station (note there is a section of track in different color) in order to refuel.

Yeah... there is totally coal service at the Steel Mill.

Like boris said, make sure the tender is parked on the service pad and you should be able to refill it with coal and water.

You might be doing something dumb. Have you tried centering the tender on the maintenance pad?

The grey dots on the map look very similar to to Black dots

If you're unsure of where it is its next to the water refiller, you should see the large building with a yellow thing on the underneath I don't know what to call it but that's the coal dumper and the system to use it is against the large beam, or is it a tube? Anyway yes the steal mill has coal service right next to the water service hope this helps
