Logistical haul freight haul difference?

Logistical is hauling empty cars to places that need them, freight haul is hauling cars loaded with freight.

Also, with freight, when you arrive, you will have a clear siding. With logistics, you may need to make room when you arrive.

Check out the Job Types page in DV Guide, in-game. It briefly explains the differences between the types. Namely, Logistical type hauls empty cars from storage to storage tracks (which may be shared by other jobs/cars), whereas Freight Haul goes directly from output to input tracks, and always has reserved space.

Logistical jobs pay a lot more per unit of mass for the added trouble. Sometimes however if you luck out they're just as easy to do as Haul jobs and can make good money.
