Money Cheat?

Please be nice. i dont have much time in a day to play this. im a high school student taking collage classes so is there any way to use the console or anything elce to get money fast so i can screw around a bit. btw thankl you developers for making a wonderfull game and thank you for being so talkative in disscustions. thanks!!!

Where is the money mod for sandbox mode? From what I can tell sandbox mode is locked to scenarios. Please add some way to just play like campaign but without needing money and everything unlocked.

Try looking at up to date threads. This is an old thread that keeps going. LOL.

Anyway. THERE IS NO WAY to do what you want. SANDBOX mode is NOT SANDBOX MODE. YOu still need to play just like in career mode. LOL Go figure. YES, I am being a troll and chiming in so Devs can see that I'm not the only one complaining about their strange decision to leave assets locked behind tasks and game play!

NO< I should not need to use a cheat to get a real sandbox mode. Very funny Altfuture! I doubt I'll make a difference in you decision, but I'll sure try in an honest and factual way. Let the haters hate. YOU NEED TO LEARN WHAT SANDBOX MEANS!

If you use cheat engine, change the value type to double. Then search for your cash amount, add what you want, save and reload. If it works, when you load, it should show your modded money in the save info. Personally they need to change it so when in sandbox, you have unlimited cash. That would fix the issue. They also need to remove the option to spawn stuff in the career settings. Very misleading when it doesn't work.

Thank you for the info. I don't use the cheat engine (yet). I just moved on to other things. It's just a game. It's sad how stupid the situation is with 'sandbox'. Lot's of sheeples just go along with whatever devs do. I can only hope enough folks with voice negative opinions on 'sandbox' to force the devs to make a very simple change in the settings! In the meanwhile, I"ll keep looking for better train sims. Not many options with modern graphics! More power to Railroad Online and the such! ;)

Look up DV Utilities on Nexus mods. It will allow you to unlock all the locos and licences. It lets you do exactly what you want without cheat engine..

RRO is the dumbest game I've ever witness in train sim industry. I mean rail building without tunnels, whole railroad is just a bunch of bridges all around, just don't compare this game with that (i wouldn't even call it that) game. They advertise as a simulator and It's not even close to that. Physics are dumb, so is building, not to mention poor performance all around.

Not to mention that not long ago they had in their EA statement this:

"Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We’re currently planning to remain in early access up to one year to implement not just our planned updates, but also your feedback, criticism and wishes.”"

1 year? Did you check when EA came out?

And just for you to understand how much astragon cares about product. Have you check their official site lately? Tried to contact support for RRO? Well let me spoil that one for you. There isn't any support on official site for this garbage of a product. So please, do not bring RRO in here. Ever.
