Hints giving the actual codes? (Mine spoilers)
I feel like a hint should be 'look at this thing closer' not '1234.' Currently the hints are both a hint AND the number. Why?

Also, the actual puzzles seem to be arbitrary. Like with the toolbox.. there's no real reason for the numbers to be in that order, you sort of have to get lucky with where you start and there's a bunch of cards and pillars (each 4 digits) that could easily be used too.

We assumed the red 2 meant the postcard with the red stamp and the red playing cards would be relevant. Obviously this made us waste a lot of time before realizing we just needed to use the toolbox numbers until we got it.

The numbers in the broken photo need to be clearer.

Overall I liked the improved atmosphere and the lobby. It'd be cool if I could see where my friends are and who is who easier so when they say "oh look at this" I can find them faster. OH and can we please lift/inspect the trophies? That way we can try out the controls a little while waiting.

Also the timer on the Mine one is way too long and there are typos in the description.

Hello,

Thanks for your comments, the hints were a debate for us too, the idea is that risking the chance of the player not understanding the hint and thus being stuck is worse than just giving them the answer, we do need to work on that...

As for the rest, we will be sure to address some of these issues in upcoming updates, some of these ideas we have also been playing with for a while.

Thank you for playing,

I think the hint should give you.. a hint. Not the answer. Maybe have the next hint (if they need another) be the actual code?

I feel like the time we have to solve the room was also way too long. With cold as ice it was dramatic and we felt like the timing was perfect. With Mine we had like an hour left.

That's a good idea, we'll take a look at our hint system in general and try to revise it a bit.
We estimate the time it would take someone to solve a room early on, the Mine got some last minute changes that we didn't account for, it would seem that the given time is indeed too much.

All that being said, we always appreciate feedback and we are always striving to get better, thank you for being a part of it!

Thank you,

Ya, only have played the mines, but for an example, the password for the box ya get from the air compressor, should just kind of be sopmething like

"I wonder why all those postcards have pictures of collums"

Yup. Exactly.

I agree regarding the hint system. Perhaps after the hint the code could be on the back of the hint UI.
And it could say in the text. "Pay attention to the number of columns in the photos, Turn over for the code"

That way it's not easy to accidentally see the code, but it's there if anyone gets really stuck

That is a good idea for VR players, but desktop users can't really turn the UI around, we would need to implement something different for them. We are trying out different ideas to see what works best.

You could have the hints be on cards you receive. Like literally something in the starting room, a 'hint box' with a button anyone can press. It literally deposits a hint card? Or... It displays the hint on a screen and you can hit the hint button again to advance to the code? Then the game could track how many times you hit the 'hint' button.

It says a lot that this issue was raised almost 2 years ago yet it isn't fixed.

I can't read the first miners helmet too, it looks like a 5 to me or an 8. I still haven't figured it out.

Oh wow... there's 2 number pads in that room. (The first number is a 5)
