1 the mod doesn't seem to work for me (Can get to menu but no settings change anything and I tried both the older version and the newer one).
2 I played it on both ps2 and on emulator and this kind of stuttering image isn't there, I mean there is some blur and such but this isn't blur I literary see the image twice when I move my camera just a bit faster.
Edit: OK I was able to remove the bloom like ghost effect with a patch from here https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/%C5%8Ckami_HD and the screenshots no longer have that effect, unfortunately the thing
I thought it was doing is still there when I move the camera the trees look like they are skipping instead of moving fluidly I don't mind 30 fps but i realy think this wasn't part of the game before, if it is any help
I do have a 240hz
monitor but I did try to set it to 60hz.
You're using pcsx2, aren't ya? It has compatibility issues with the 2d effects, including the shaders, brush screen, and enemy hit count, only with the directx used. Use opengl and it should work properly.
Even the wii version has this, both emulated or not.
System: Win 10
CPU: Intel I7 4790
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
RAM: 16 GB DDR 3
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Killer
Monitor: AOC AG251FG (240hz) + Benq XL2411 (144hz)
Checked the screenshot again and it seems that the ghosting effect is too prominent I guess, the second inage is way too far from the original object.
It's normal there's a slight double-image effect (check some gameplay videos on yt or other people's screenshots), but the one on your screenshot seems way too much.
it's visible on the tree. It's tearing my eyes but it is even worse in game. I'm also starting to think it might be just my eyes but if you can confirm it, it would be nice. Sorry if I wasted your time.
So unless youtube compression is hiding anything, or unless your monitor is handling 30FPS weirdly, I'd guess it's just your eyes. Can't do much about it, except getting used to it :/
Dark Souls though, I played with DSFix to get 60 FPS. There are some things that technically break when you do that, but I didn't even notice, played it for hundreds of hours before I learned that the 2 or 3 places in the entire game that have weird collision detection are caused by 60 FPS. But you can easily switch between two modes with Backspace (or some other buttons, I don't remember now). But I guess soon it won't matter too much, since the remaster is going to support 60 FPS without any problems.
