You have to adjust settings in main menu, before you load up a save file.
Can someone please ask the devs to make the game respond to Windows 7 window switching properly?
- Navigate to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\OKAMI HD (or just paste %appdata%\OKAMI HD to the start menu)
- Open the okami_cnf.ini
- Change the WindowType to either 0 (windowed) or 2 (borderless window).
- Save and (re)start okami.
Kaldaien said about disabling the display scaling:
- navigate to the installation path (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Okami)
- right click on okami.exe and click properties
- On the compatibility, check "disable display scaling on high dpi settings" or in newer versions of windows, "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and choose "application" under "scaling performed by:"
It worked for me, very usefull info. Thanks
I had this exact problem while streaming the game and it wouldn't stay in fullscreen after i kept alt-tabbing. I kept having to go back to the main menu. However, IF YOU CHANGE THE OKAMI_CNF FILE IT WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
It worked flawlessly! Kudos, sir!
