Apparently this is done in Steam itself, launch in Big Picture and configure manually or use the included profile and this supposedly fixes issues.

I launched the game with my controller plugged in and it worked instantly.

lol Thats a first, but it worked for my xbox one controller

Using an Xbox360 controller, I can only use the analog stick in the menu to navigate but I can't use any buttons at all. Button prompts in the menu are messed up (one of the icons looks like part of the X button on the playstation controller)

it supports both my xbox360 and ps4 controllers, and quite well actually.

On most steam games nowadays this is done with Big Picture mode. Just go in there and manually set things up if it's not working. It should work just fine after that.

Controller is working for me (xb 360) but the button prompts are all for keyboard. How the hell do you examine things while using an Xbox controller? Do I really need to press F???

It doesn't work with me. I restarted my Steam like two times, and there wasn't native support for my DS4 (And I know there is because the devs specifically states so). Big Mode Picture doesn't work either.

It seems to work with DS4Windows, but while I was going through settings I noticed the joystick was really slippery. I hope there's a fix of this soon, as I want to play this game TONIGHT.

.... no native xinput supportt and you have to always go through BPM whivh i totally hate :-(

i guess i will wait a bit more

Just press a button and the prompts should change.
That's how it works for me, I even pressed a key afterward and it went back to keyboard prompts.

If you're ingame and it's not working, try restarting the game entirely and trying it in the main menu.

No dice for me. Even using BPM (which I can't stand using) all prompts are for KB...

Odd, controller support worked just fine for me, heck I was using the controller AND the mouse at the same time for a random test with no problem. Hope the issue gets figured out.
