PS4 controller support?
Hi there!

I've seen people talk about wanting to use the touchpad for the brush or whatever, but the game doesn't even seem to realize that I have a controller ready to use (wired PS4 controller).

Do you guys have any idea how to fix this? I played this game way back on PS2 and can't imagine playing it with keyboad and mouse...

I play with ps4 controller and it's fine, BUT when I tried to uncheck the overlay in steam (when clicking on the game) it stopped working as a ps4 controller and I had to use it with DS4 as Xbox one. I hope I might have helped:)

Well I'll be damned.

I just wanted to try disabling a few things and the first thing I disabled (big picture overlay) fixed it.

Thanks a ton pal, never would have thought of that :)

I am using the official DS4 wireless adapter, and I can't get it to work either natively or with DS4Windows. I've disabled Steam overlay, but I've never configured my controllers within big picture mode, so I tried that, and still no luck.

My X One Elite controller suffered the stupid broken trigger problem, so I've switched to DS4 for now, and this is the only game I've run into issues with.

If you want to use the trackpad you have to enabled PS4 support in the controller settings of Steam

Steam->Settings->Controller->General Settings-> Check the PS4 box.

Steam Overlay needs to be Enabled.

@laggerific: in order to avoid conflicts with DS4Windows or InputMapper Steam ignores PS4 controllers when they are detected to be running. If you want to use the PS4 through Steam to access the specific features of the game (trackpad/gyro/correct glyphs) please close DS4Windows and restart Steam. Let me know if you still have issues and I'm happy to troubleshoot with you.
