I'm having trouble with the Canine Warriors section. (Edit- use a controller)

Edit- I tried restarting the game, going back to Princess Fuse to see if I missed some dialogue, buying new meat sacks, and talking to and attempting to feed each of the first 4 dogs. No matter where I stood, or what I tried, while using keyboard and mouse, the feed bags in my inventory remained grey, and gave the "no nearby animals" dialogue. Once I opened my inventory using the controller, the feed bags were usable.

I've looked everywhere online and tried what i could, but the canine warriors won;t take the food. Am i doing something wrong? There's no prompt in the menu or the game showing that i could feed them. Selecting the meat/food bags in the menu isn't working.

You have to speak with them. they will say "I'm hungry" or something. then open the menu, select meat and they will eat.

I tried that just now, it didn't work, it just says "There are no nearby animals to feed."

That is weird. Which one are you trying to talk to? Because first you have to activate dialog with him/her and after you speak, you can feed. Note that some of them you can't feed. It's the ones you fight.

I'm talking to the first one you find, the one in the crack in the wall near the clover, he asked for food but i cant feed him.

Try and be as close as possible, activate dialog, then without moving, open your fan menu, select "Meat" and it should work. It's odd... I've never had this happen.

And the first one should be the one by the well. The big Boxer dog. At least that was the first one for me. He appears after you restore the garden.

I lost my only save file from okami and I was in this point of the story, had just beaten the canine warriors. I wondered if you could send me your safe game so I don`t have to play through the whole game again? This would be so nice! Thank you very much in advance.
