+1 for a steam port of Okamiden
Seriously love bother those games, while yes Okamiden is a DS game and uses touch controls, that's easily worked around by binding the touch controls to the mouce.

thanks, the for correction. probably wouldn't have noticed for like a week or something, dyslexia and all.
that's impossible they'd have to redo the entire game due to how the graphics for ds was

Not really, they did it for FF9 which never had a pc port. Plus it's alot more simple than you think, instead of redoing the whole game, they just need to work in an emulator of some kind (which by my understanding, is what alot of these things do.)

I would totally buy old console/handheld games that were never otherwise released for PC. If they want to actually remaster/remake them that's cool, but just simple emulation would be enough for me.

the pc version of ff9 is a port of the ps4 version of it... ps4 is a neutered pc board with specialized software.. it was reletively easy to just convert it to windows

and any time someone just makes an emulator for a game point they get murdered by the fanboy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

nope, only sometimes is it just emulated roms, (and its usually clear when it is) and even then its never for HD versions. what you are thinking of is not a port as well. to port somthing means to tweek or reprogram a game to run nativley on some other piece of hardware.

okay then, most things gotten from the original WII classic store. By my understanding alot of those ran through emulation.

Edit: the whole point was first that it's not impossible because emulation, and second that's exactly what people said about final fantasy 9 how it was never going to get a steam port, etc... Yet it did.

Okamiden was originally released for a console featuring two screens, yes? Kinda wonder how the devs can manage with just 1...

they did it with kingdom hearts dream distant drop, so its not impossible. :fhappy:
that was a 3d game already and made way far in times it'd be possible.
DS was just a small screen and low poligons and bad resolution.
