This game feels overrated

This game should have ended with the first orochi fight I would have been satisfied.But this game drags on and on even though the genre of this game shouldnt be so long it becomes very repetitive combat is clunky the brush fighting is cool but a pain to keep drawing it just to do the same attacks.The reason rpg's can pull off being so long but this can't is because rpgs flow a lot better because you don't get stuck on puzzles or get confused on where to go part of the thing that makes zelda game better than this is that they are shorter much shorter so they end up having a lot of replayability finding secrets e.t.c. But when you have to go through 30+ hours of zelda style content it gets repetitive.I will say that this game has an amazing atmosphere,music and art style but the length just killed it for me

If you find Okami too long, then it's not the game for you. This is actually one of the best moments in Okami. You kill the boss and feel unhappy because you think the story is already over, but then it turns out it's actually far from it. Personally, I'd love it to be even twice as long as it is.

Yeah, what kyohin_desu said. The surprise I got when the game didn't end after Orochi is one of the cool things I remember very fondly from this game, among many other things. It's still one of my favourite games I played.

I remember playing this game on the Wii when I had 13 years ( 10 years a ago), after the fight with Orochi I was like "no I don't want to finish this game now and I was surprise and happy that this was not the end of the game. Okami is the first video game who made my cry. This game have a VIP place in my heart. The graphic, the soundtrack, the characters and the story are awesome. I remember the first time I get in Seian city, I was like "wow this city is really huge" (as a chilf for me it's was really huge lol).

Okami take between 30 - 40 hours. It's not a really big if we compare with Persona 5, XC1/XC2, Zelda BOTW.

you were prob a kid you don't like this game because it's good you like it because of nostalgia like i will admit the original resident evil is not very good by todays standards but to me it's a nostalgic expeirance and love the game.

Not just because of the nostalgia, the HD version look like a new year game. Honestly this game is a masterpiece (like Earthbound) who have a bad commercial because of the launch of the PS3. By the way, I prefer the game at this age, because now I can made all the mythology connection that I know. I'm thinking that you are here just to troll us lol. I have saw a lot of your comments on others steam forum and it's always bad thing.

For me Okami is not just a video game, but a complete life experience (movie, music, story, soundtrack). Search a game who look like Okami, good luck, (Anything except zelda).This is a game that if it's was released in our era, it's would perfectly fit. I'm not the type of guy who really like review (IGN, Gamespot, etc), but there all recognise this game like a masterpiece. Just look at all the person (name) who work on this project ,now a lot of theses guys have found PlatinumGames (Bayonetta, The Wonderdul 101, Nier Automata, Madworld, Astral Chain).

But those are good games this isn't you can't admit it's because of nostalgia you're delusional almost as delusional as the people who think final fantasy 13 is a good game.There are games which are bad that i like but i would not recommend them to people like you do or i would explain to people that i like them but it prob isnt very good as a whole.And I don't ♥♥♥♥ on every game i play only the ones that are bad.There are even games I just don't like but will admit they are good games but are just not for me.face it this game has clunky controls, extreme repetition (you fight all of the bosses again!),and a bug explaining obvious things to you every 5 minutes.

I didn't saw one bad review about Okami, but I guess this is a bad game like Zelda botw, Persona 5, Dragon Quest XI, XC1/XC2, etc....
