Text speed
Everyone complaining about 30fps, but my biggest concern is does the characters speech still really slowly reveal onto the screen?

Honestly makes the game so much longer than it needs to be, and makes replaying the intro insufferable

can't you press a button to fast them up? i can't remember

You have to hold a button and it goes slightly faster, but having that as default would be nice

If the text could just instantly appear on screen that would be amazing

An auto advance option for text would be great, especially for the sheer amount of exposition dump before you really get into the game.
With that much of, sort of cutscenes but you have to advance text yourself, present it would be quite nice.

You can, X or square

Square or X to fast forward without skipping, triangle or Y to fast forward the entire dialogue.

I am completelly dissapointed of this game, SO MUCH TEXT, after a 1:20 hours I have played only 5 min, ♥♥♥♥ this game, and it stops you in EVERY CORNER to tell you something, like, "look at this!", "look at that!", ♥♥♥♥ it, BORING AF!

Heh, this game takes a lot of patience. Believe me, this will build up later. The intro is a drag, but quite a lot are actually important, including the long intro.

Just be patient more, okay?
I usually grab my phone and see if the dialouge it's important. If it is, i grab my patience and watch the whole thing, otherwise i just search for memes while the dialouge keeps going.

at least, that's my method. (sorry formy bad english, I'm italian)

ive been holding x down on a xbox pad but it seems to sometimes skip everything leading to me having to find lets plays of that exact moment to read the text so i've found it to be more reliable to sit through all the text at the normal really slow speed, a text speed option would have been great.

As told before you can fast-forward the text appearing... as you could in the original 11 years ago but this time they added a button (triangle/Y) that you can just hold and it'll skip the dialogue very fast. Plus most cutscenes seem skippable.

Fast forward was in the original release and is barely sufficient, it's still a length game full of tiny text boxes.

I have completed the game, I know how much text their is, instant/super fast text was what I was talking about

Anyway, you didn't mention the actual specifics of the skip dialogue button before

You can skip most of the cutscenes now, too, without having played through once already first, so that helps.

Hm, I guess it's still not really clear then.

Hold the default attack button (lmb/square/X) or the confirmation button (enter/circle/A) to fast forward, with button prompts to continue.
Hold the default subweapon button (rmb/triangle/Y) to fast forward the text without button prompts to continue.

Notice:
  • these won't work on certain cutscenes, mainly the story ones like the intro. But you can hold the subweapon button automatically skips the button prompts, so you don't need to mash.
  • For kb+m, those buttons will remains the same to do them, even when rebinded. Say, I bind subweapon to F, but to do the above i still need to press rmb.

Skip almost all cutscenes : Fan menu (PC - F1, DS4 - options/right touchpad, Xbone - menu, X360 - start)

Just a heads up, even tho you already finished this.

So fast forwarding text only works in some cases, this is super annoying and for a game with this much text you really should have an to option to instantly display all of the text in the dialogue box. The super slow scrolling speed really puts a damper on my enjoyment of this.
