Nature Treks VR

Great VR experience but I have a question
How do I use the 'creation orbs' that pop in at the beginning of a map. I know how to get rid of them, I know how to shut on/off music and flowers but the rest of them I've tried hitting all the Vive wand buttons and I can't cycle through to choose to try those out. How do I use them?:mushbloom:

Hello, sorry for the late reply. To use the creator orbs you need to grab them using the grip buttons on the vive controllers. Some of them toggle events on grab (Time of day, weather and lotus breathing guide). The rest you need to throw (think of them as seeds), wherever they land they will 'grow' that particular object, a tree for example.

Note: If you throw an orb to close to your feed (1 meter radius) the object will not grow, you will see a red effect and hear an audio beep to indicate this. This avoids people getting surprised when a giant oak tree grows through them.
No worries! :rainbowfart:

Ah that's what I'm doing wrong them....I've been dropping them at my feet! Thanks!

How do you grip the orbs please? Do you have to move your virtual hands right to them? If so, I can't, my desk gets in the way.

Ok, I've sussed that you have to get your hand/controller right to the orb before you can grip it. I managed to move a sensor such that I can reach one orb.

My mind is blown that you have not made it possible to raise the level of the orb-ring higher for those in a confined space. Even being able to rotate the ring of orbs would offer a kind of solution. Do you imagine everyone has space to stand or move their seat away from obstructions?! Why does one's hand have to be in direct proximity to an orb to grab it anyway? Two simple solutions, using one of the unused joysticks, to raise/lower the position of the orb-ring and/or not require direct proximity of the controller to grab an orb.

Breathtaking flaw.

A lot of games have issues when you don't have a full room to play. I use standing VR for the most part due to space limitations where my computer is set up and on particular mod (OpenVR Advanced settings) has been invaluable for changing my position in space on the fly to make 99% of games work with a quick adjustment at the beggining when i see the play space needs to move.

Thank you! :)

Unfortunately it does nothing to change the relative position between the hand/controllers and the orbs. :(

I was able to play sitting down and moving the orbs closee by re-centering the headset in settings from the main bar
