Everytime I start the game it only shows a black screen with music in the background

As I said in the title, I only get black screen when I start the game and i wonder if someone might have a clue as to what it could be.

I have a Steam Deck as the only device to play this game on.

You need to change the graphics renderer. This is sometimes an issue with this particular game engine (TyranoScript). I don't have a Steam Deck, but here's how I do it in Ubuntu; hopefully someone can help you if the process isn't exactly the same.

- Install Winetricks[github.com]
- in a terminal, run env WINEPREFIX=[path-to-steam]/steamapps/compatdata/605930/pfx winetricks
(605930 is actually the steam ID for Chapter 2; if you only own Chapter 1, you might need to use 587570 instead)
- Select & click OK for: Select the default wineprefix, Change settings, ddr=gdi
- Close out of Winetricks and run the game
