When I launch the game i sit in the menu screen where i can see the words "chroma lab" but when I press the start button on my controller nothing happens

Just got this and turned it on to massive lag. 1 frame per hour style lag. Anyone have any ideas?

I really enjoyed playing with Chroma Wave (on my Oculus/Meta Quest 2) in The Museum of Other Realities, so I decided to try out the full version of Chroma Lab. Upon opening, my controllers seem to appear stuck in the ground with no inputs working.
