Thing is you can't really blame the people for being hyped back then, it looked and sounded like it could have become such a good game. I remember being hyped myself, but luckily I was never stupid enough to fund or buy the game. Just sad how it ended.
But NOW? How deep in denial do you have to be to still think this game will ever be anything but a crappy tech demo? Just because of dev vlogs where they talk about the texture of tree bark that no one needs or asked for? I took a look at the pretty much dead Saurian subreddit and there are posts from people from over 10 months ago saying the Trike will be playable "soon". Well surprise surprise still absolutly nothing!
Sometimes I come back to this forum just to enjoy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, reminds me of how the Steam forum of Cube World looked like a few months ago, right after their dev scammed and ditched them the second time in a row. Some people are either too naive to realise they were scammed or they secretly enjoy it.
Fifty percent of the people here are stuck in some sort of denial. I'm so sick of the stupid and naive people preaching about " It's an early acess game," or "It's a small Dev team." What does it take to realize we have been BSed by the devs?
Sorry, based on the lack of progress so far, I don't think that this project will ever be finished.
My opinion.
