Why can I not run this game? Please help.

So I have my specifications, and I am wondering why I cannot seem to run this game at all, like no matter the settings I change, it always seems to run at the same frame rate.

My rig:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940M
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 16GB
Current Resolution: 1920 x 1080
GPU Driver Version: 20.19.15.4549
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)

My computer is an HP laptop just incase someone would like that reference.

Hopefully one of you can seem to find the problem... am I just not powerful enough?

I belive this is the problem.
I have a Gtx Nividia Geforce 950m so the one up from yours and i can only just play the game, lowest settings to get any decent fps.
The problem is that your using a laptop, they cost and extra 200-500 more for the same specs as a PC
Sadly it looks like you will only have the option to
1. Buy a Pc that has a good rig
2. Upgrade your laptops rig, get a better graphics card
3. Hope they have an update where they make the game less graphicly demanding
To be honest i was very surpried when i couldnt run the game well, i can run the isle on high settings (Check my screenshots) and that game is amazingly good looking, and well, this game to be honest is quite a way off that.

So yea, Good luck, hopefully you can find the solution!

Do you see plants when you start a new game/load a save? If you don't, you might be experiencing 0-1 fps bug, which can be fixed.

Main reason is probably your graphics card though. It pretty much falls into the "minimum requirements" specs. Hopefully it will run better after the next patch

You know, I'd a feeling that it was to be my GPU. Until I go ahead and get a better rig, it seems to be that I'll not be doing all that much on my computer, but rather my PS4. See you then!
