So far from all the traliers I THINK you can only play as the dakotaraptor but there are other creatures you cant play as I THINK. I may be wrong

You'll have up to six dinos to play as, but for right now you'll only play as the dakotaraptor initially. as for AI dinos? I am not sure about that :P

Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Dakotaraptor, Pachycephalosaurus, Anzu and Ankylosaurus are all planned to eventually be playable in Saurian. Dakotaraptor will be the only dinosaur playable in the initial Early Access release. Pachycephalosaurus, Triceratops and T. rex will be added incrementally up until the full version is released, probably in that order. Anzu and Ankylosaurus were the species chosen by our Kickstarter backers. They will be added as free updates after the base game is complete..

Over 25 different Hell Creek animals will be included in the final game, many of which will have multiple growth stages and/or separate male and female morphs as adults.

There are actually only four dinosaurs that are in game, in the final realese there will be six playable dinosaurs and a bunch of AI only dinosaurs and bugs and trees and lizards and small things that you may never notice... Remember eventually we will get two more dinos, I believe that right now they are working on the environment and the four planned dinosaurs first later on they will add Anzu and Ankylosaurus. You can only play as one dinosaur in the early access (Dakotaraptor) from hatchling to adult in the most scientificly acurate representation of teh life of a dinosaur out there at the moment. (remember Thats not only in the videogame world thats in teh book world, the documentary world, everything!! its quite impressive) anyway so far they will add all playable dinosaurs and a few ai only here and there over the next 1-2 years.

Dakotaraptor will be the only one playable in the initial EA release with pachy, trike and T. rex being added in as time goes on most likely in that order, ankylosaurus and anzu being voted on by the Kickstarter backers will be added in as a stretch goal once the core gameplay is completed and the game is out of EA.

Of course, we aim to recreate as much of the ecosystem of Hell Creek as possible. However, there are limits. For the most part, nothing smaller than Chamops, that little lizard that you eat as a hatchling and juvenile, will be modeled in game. The most you can expect for insects are some particle effects.

Yep, and some have sexual dimorphism that affacts their playstyle. Like Triceratops and Anzu.
