Last time it was on sale was Summer Sale 2023. No discounts since.

Wow... interesting, yes. Even outside the Steam store there's been an almost constant -20% sale, but that's nothing compared to the discounts they had before.

Almost seems like Aksys has a new guy in charge of this game, and he's a lot less sale-crazy than his predecessor...

TXE+ actually went on sales regularly before, even showing up on sites Fanatical like dirt cheap anime bundles all the time.

That being said, I would say they are refraining from doing sales just to boost Nintendo Switch port (June 2023 for Japan, June 2024 for Global). Pretty sure the timing was not coincidence at all

Seriously, it regularly was 80% off since May 2019. It went down to 80% off 25 times between May 2019 and June 2023, my only guess is that because they are planning another Tokyo Xanadu game they want to maximise profits. Only problem being that I don't know who is willing to pay $60 for a game that came out in 2016

Honestly I'd reconmend people to just buy a key for the game, there's no reason to pay full price for this game
