Is this "Abandon Ware" at this point?

According to steamdb.info, this game hasn't gone on sale in 16 months when it apparently use to go on sale with the seasonal steam sales and occasionally holiday sales. I get they don't want to compete with recent Nintendo port, but will this EVER go on sale again? When the repeated sale price is $12, I'm NOT paying a full $60.

It's been a year since the last huge discount, but I wouldn't call it abandonware.

You have to be really patient, it will go on sales again, just not now when Falcom still hope on Switch sale. It can take 1-2 years to show again, probably when Kyoto Xanadu announced, but you should know that it won't be the same highest discount either.

FYI, Bandai Namco also withheld Soul games sale like 2 years partly of Server issues and relying on Elden Ring hype to push the price discount from 75% to 50% when they on sales again.

not abandoned because sales dont = abandoned . its a good game and complete no issues ive ever had playing it start to finish several times . your post is showing your an entittled person upset its not cheaper . games dont need lower price when their good. if thats cause go buy some cheap crappy games . abandoned games are ones that are not completed fully of errors and glitches and game breaking issues and bugs , this isnt an adbandoned game in that way . if your asking if they any longer update it ect then you can easily check on the game site . still just means its a finished game not in beta . j/s your whole post stinks of entitlement and gimmme for nothing .

I wanted to know if I held out long enough, would their eventually be another sale, (why pay a full $60 when you could pay $12 instead), or was whoever responsible for making the decision for that title done doing so, having "abandoned" it?

Get off your high horse ass hat. If you have an extra $48 dollars lying around that you can readily spend just because you have no patience, good for you. Some of us don't mind waiting if we can get a good deal by doing so, as long as we know the waiting will actually accomplish something.

Abandonware is software or a game that has been abandoned during its development, or has been taken down from official purchase avenues, so no, not abandonware.

As for sales, I know this game was on sale and included in bundles quite frequently on Fanatical. Definitely keep an eye on that as well as heeding the words of the people above.

Perhaps they did that cuz recently they updated the regional price for Latam USD and Mena USD

Then it was a pretty bad move, good thing that it exist ways to know whats the lowest price in history it had before buying it, thats why i stopped myself to buy it and went to get other games with REAL price :3
