Also considering Xanadu is an existing series from the 1980s. A lot of players don't consider TX a proper Xanadu game, but who knows if Falcom considers it as one.
There will be a sequel, they already hinted at it.
Now Falcom is simply busy with CS4, it will probably happen after that.
"president Toshihiro Kondo is thinking about making it a franchise"
Thinking, means might or might not happen.Falcom is an indie dev and they said that in mid 2018.Same thing Koei techmo said about Blue reflection in late 2017 but since then, nothing happened. No news at all and that's a AAA company. All im saying is....things don't go as expected and a poor indie dev has way less chances of making this happen, especially when they put so much care into their games.I would want a sequel normally, but in this case it's better if they just leave it as is and move on with a new IP.
first i checked falcom on wikipedia i have to correct one thing is nowhere does falcom claim or is in any form an indie developer they mainly deal in computer games however they are the real deal as far as pc game developers go not indie not saying i think indie is any less real mind you but falcom can not be considered an indie developer considering they where founded in 1981 and on top of that own the rights to both the y's and legends of heroes franchises never mind the fact they can be considered one companies that can be credited with laying the foundations for the Japanese role-playing game industry as we know it today they can not be considered poor in any mean shape or form and frankly if they did decide to make it a franchise have the funds to do so properly and to end this comment let me say this i apoligize if my comment came off as an attack it isnt meant as such however despite not quite beating the game myself yet i find great enjoymeant from this game and i feel the above comment might misled people into misunderstanding falcoms ability to continue with the title if they choose to do so due to the comments claim of both being an indie developer(not true as far as i can tell and he or she has no source stated for such a statement)and being poor(again not true of not only falcom but im also sure there are plenty of indie developers that also are not poor)again i dont mean this as an attack just a statement to say it can be misleading
