Did they actually playtest the skateboarding?
I was just wondering since everything above the 4th course is impossible to complete and the controls are the most horrible ones that I have ever seen.

Will change my review of this game to negative until they fixed it.

?
The controls are good enough that I completed all of them except the very last one 1st try...
Sorry, but it looks like its a problem in your end.

Use a controller, dude.

It's definitely possible to meet the objectives with mouse and keyboard, I did it. It took a few attempts, but it is possible.

The trick is that you have to do what the tutorial says and steer left and right a little to maintain your speed. The first few courses you can get away with just kicking off with your feet, but that's not going to work for the later ones, you don't get enough speed from that.

Once you have the hang of using the left and right steering to maintain your momentum, it's definitely possible.

Game itself is 3 years old, you are in for one hell of wating. Might as well for Half Life 3.

The controls are trash LOL
I just tried it and ENTER is accelerate, RMB is jump.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up thing is you can't bind LMB to anything in the config.
Just use a controller is an extremely lame excuse when its a PC release.

you gave this game a negative review...because of the skateboarding minigame?

Is the skateboarding even needed? I've kind of stopped trying it after the first two courses as it felt rather sluggish.

I kind of did the card game to see who'd show up, got bored after a couple of plushies from the crane game, got super-bored from the fishing (I did repeat the 10-medals until getting the "boss", but didn't do the others), and only played one round of that "monsters popping out of the board holes" thing.

Seems like most of those mini-games didn't connect with me at all...

None of them are really needed*, they just give you medals/a few goodies and a bit of extra dialogue.

I spent about 3 hours or so in the Alisa minigame, just because I wanted the 20000 medal prize early on so I got to grind it for some hours on Hard.... Its BGM still haunts me to this day...LOL.

Card game is pretty fun. And becomes a better source of medals starting from mid-game.

Fishing, I agree, only did it a few times then never again.

Skateboarding I just did it every time a new course was there... It just took me 1 attempt each course, except the last one which took me a few more. It was pretty fun, too.

*Crane is actually needed if you want 100% to fill a certain friend page...
Did they actually playtest the skateboarding?

I was just wondering since everything above the 4th course is easy as hell to complete yet I somehow can't and the controls are so easy a toddler can figure it out.

Will change my review of this game to negative until I stop being terrible at video games.

Don't constantly push off, that was my mistake at first too. It works for the first few courses, but then it just won't cut it anymore. After the first few pushes, you need to use left/right steering to maintain your momentum. Do that and you'll be able to finish in time.

It was sarcasm. Pretty blatant if you reread it.
